_ 昨日書いたブログに一部，誤りがありましので，お侘びして訂正します。しばらく前の『週刊読書人』の特集「コメンテーターの時代」，というのは間違いでした。
このところ整理学が下手になってしまって，新聞もときおり古いものがどこかからでてきて，つい最近のものと混同してしまうことがよくある。今回も，じつは，読まないでどこかの下積みになっていたものがでてきて，そのことに気づかないまま，「しばらく前の」と書いてしまいました。もう一点は，特集ではなくて，一面の大見出しでした。しかも，正しくは「コメンテーター的知識人」の時代，という大見出しでした。これから気をつけます。お許しください。
ついでに，この記事のことを少しだけ。
ちなみに，この「コメンテーター的知識人」の時代，というのは，この記事を書いた毛利嘉孝（社会学）氏の造語である。もう一度，よく読み直してみると，なかなか皮肉がきいていて，奥が深い。論評の対象になっているのは，大澤真幸編『アキハバラ発──＜００年代＞への問い』（岩波書店）である。毛利氏の言説によれば，この本では２２人の執筆者（学者，批評家，小説家，ジャーナリストなど）による「反／非解釈的な議論」が展開されていて，しかも，自分の専門性に関係なく自由に（わたしに言わせれば「勝手に」）「アキハバラ問題」について「コメント」している，という。この「コメント」の仕方が，これまでの「伝統的な『公的知識人』に代わって」登場した新しいスタイルだ，と毛利氏は指摘する。このスタイルが最近，いろいろの分野で眼につくし，なかなかに歓迎されている，という。つまり，このスタイルで書かれる「新書」がよく売れるということだ。だから，これは新しい流行と呼んでもいい，だとすれば「コメンテーター的知識人」の時代の幕開けではないか，と毛利氏はいう。
しかも，毛利氏の，このテクストを論評するスタンスは，きわめて微妙である。よくよく深読みをしてみると，そこにはかなりの「毒」が盛られている。編者の大澤真幸氏に対しても，「はじめに」と大澤自身の論考「世界の中心で神を呼ぶ──秋葉原事件をめぐって」を読むかぎりは，意外にベタな物語化や解釈学を期待していたのかもしれない，と指摘した上で，さらにつぎのように述べる。「とすれば，２２名にも及ぶ論者たちの多くは，よくも悪くも期待を裏切って」いる，という。まあ，言ってしまえば，編者の意図と執筆者の意図とがズレている，というのである。しかも，それで平然としていることの不思議さを暗に提起しているように，わたしには読める。
たとえば，社会学者としての「公的知識人」の立場を放棄して「秋葉原問題」に「コメント」することの意味ははたしてなにか，という問いがそこからは必然的に現れる。
解釈学ですら，場合によっては，単なる「ディスクライブ」（外に書く）にすぎない。書く人にとっては痛くも痒くもないのである。そこから，さらに後退した「コメント」とは，単に「おれはこう思うよ」というだけの話である。もちろん，そこには妙な解釈学を超えた，みごとな「切り口」を提示することが可能な場合もあろう。しかし，一般的には，まあ，どうでもいい話である。朝青龍に対する新聞記者の記事の書き方は，まさに個人的な「コメント」にすぎない。はたして，ジャーナリストの言説はその程度のものですまされていいのだろうか。かつて，朝日新聞社の記者として切れ味鋭い記事を書いていた辺見庸（いまは，作家）のような記者はもういないのだろうか。わたしの記憶では，辺見の書く名入りの記事は，まさに「インスクライブ」（内に書く）であった。だから，記事を読んでいて心臓が高鳴ったものだ。いまでは，もはや，むかしの物語となってしまった。
わが身を劈り開くような，あるいは，わが身に刻印するような（西谷氏に言わせれば「入れ墨をするような」），そういう「インスクライブ」がますます遠ざけられている社会現象をとらえて，毛利氏が「コメンテーター的知識人」の時代と名づけているとしたら，その意味するところは重い。ことばの正しい意味での「批評精神」がますます軽んじられる時代，みんなが「コメンテーター化」していく時代，そういう時代にいま，わたしたちは立ち合っているのだ，と毛利氏はいいたいのだろう。その点では，わたしもまったく同感だ。
わたしはわたしの立場からの＜スポーツ批評＞宣言に向けて，その根拠と方向性を明示しなくてはなるまい。
おやおや，これまた大変なことになってしまった。１月２４日の話はどういうことになるのやら・・・。ドキドキ，ドキドキ・・・・。怒気，怒気，怒気・・・。土器，土器，土器・・・。
