2009-08-13 神戸市外国語大学の集中講義が終わりました。
_ ずいぶん長い間，ブログを休んでしまいました。今日の夕刻，神戸市外国語大学の集中講義からもどりましたので，このブログも復活です。
８月７日（金）に家をでて，研究会やお参りや教え子の会などに顔をだして，１０日（月）から１２日（水）まで，集中講義と格闘してきました。一日５コマを三日間ですので，かなりのハード・ワークでした。しかし，学生さんの質がとてもよくて，まじめに真剣に耳を傾けてくれましたので，わたしの方は楽しく授業を展開することができました。久しぶりに至福の時をすごすことができました。ありがたいことです。
集中講義の授業科目は「スポーツ文化論演習」というもの。テクストは今福龍太著『ブラジルのホモ・ルーデンス』−サッカー批評原論（月曜社）。この本を読みながら，スポーツ文化とはなにかをみんなで考えてみよう，という次第。学部の学生さんにとってはかなり難解な文章と内容ですので，大丈夫かなという不安がありましたが，まったくの杞憂でした。プレゼンテーションを担当した学生さんはみんな必死で勉強して，議論しやすいレジュメも用意して，準備万端おこたりなし，でした。それになによりこの演習に臨む態度がいい。ひとつでも多く吸収して自分のものにしようという意欲がありありと伝わってきて，逆に，こちらが元気をもらうような場面がいくつもありました。
まあ，なにせ，いきなり「サッカー批評」とは，世界批評である，というテーゼが飛び出すこのテクストのことですから，あちこちに意表をつく文章や内容が埋め込まれています。はじめから最後まで「今福節」がうなりをあげているのですから・・・・。学生さんたちは大変だったと思います。よくもまあ，弱音をはくことなく，最後まで頑張ってくれた，と感心しました。こういう学生さんたちだったら，これからもとても楽しく授業ができるなぁ，としみじみ思いました。
最終日には，学長さんにもお会いすることができました。１０分ほどご挨拶を，という約束が，２５分もおしゃべりをしていました。とても気さくな学長さんで，わたしもついつい調子に乗ってしまって，あっという間に２５分が過ぎていました。
ここからもどってきたら，学生さんたちが「打ち上げコンパ」なるものを準備して待っていてくれました。キャンパスのなかに同窓会館があって，コンパができる，これはまことに好都合。実費会費で懇親会ができる。こういう配慮が大学側にあるというところがなかなかよろしい。みんなひとりずつ，演習の感想を述べてくれ，これがまたとても暖かいことばが続出して，涙がこぼれそうになりました。そして，最後に寄せ書きをした「色紙」をプレゼントしてくれました。
家にもどってから読んでみたら，とても嬉しいことばがいっぱい書いてありました。たとえば，「この４年間に学んだどの授業よりも『濃い』内容で大満足しています」とか，「毎時間，毎時間，ドキドキしながら坐っていました」とか，「自分の思考がつぎつぎに開かれていくことがわかりびっくりしました」とか・・・・。こんなに褒められてしまっていいのかなぁ，でも，あの学生さんたちは嘘はつかないだろう，などと自問自答しています。これはもう完全に，新しいわたしの宝物となりました。２１世紀スポーツ文化研究所の事務所に飾っておこうと思います。
この演習は後期にもあって，１２月１６日（水），１７日（木），１８日（金）の三日間です。すでに宿泊の予約もしてきました。テキストは『近代スポーツのミッションは終わったか』─身体・メディア・世界（平凡社・９月１０日刊行予定）。西谷修，今福龍太の両氏にわたしが加わった共著です。この５，６年にわたって３人で積み上げてきたシンポジウムをまとめたものです。すでに，各シンポジウムごとに，なんらかの形で公表されてきたものばかりですが，これらを全部集めてみると，これもまた圧巻です。しかも，西谷さんも今福さんも丁寧に推敲を何回も重ねてくださり，わたしの発言のところを除けば，それはそれはすばらしい読物になっています。乞う，ご期待！というところ。
「サッカー批評」とは，世界批評である，という今回の演習のテーマをしっかりと受け止めて，後期は，「スポーツ批評」とは，世界批評である，というさらに大きなテーマへと展開することになります。さてはて，次回には，神戸市外国語大学の学生さんたちが，どのような反応を示すか，いまから楽しみです。

いつも拝見しています。なかなか突っ込みをいれることができないくらいの難しい内容で・・・。こちらが勉強不足なのにあぐらをかいて・・・・。<br>ところで、自分が大学生の時に、果たしてこの集中講義についていけたかどうか・・・。それくらいの濃く、深く、難しそうな講義内容ですね。といっても、先生は難解な内容を分かりやすく説明してくれますから。そのような、講義を受講できた学生さんは幸せでしたね。うらやましい限りですね。
